Our services include the removal of valves and actuators from the site; onshore or offshore, transportation, comprehensive services in the workshop, and timely delivery back to clients as well as other comprehensive services in the workshop. We do understand the criticality of downtime for operations, hence we provide in-situ services and repair job whenever we can without jeopardizing the compliance for highest quality and standard.
With Valser’s engineering skills and knowledge, our Engineers and Technicians have more than 10 years’ experience in Actuated Valves System (AVS) maintenance and are highly capable to ensure that your valves and actuators are thoroughly inspected to determine the specific services required. We offer a wide range of services inclusive of soft parts replacement, repair, testing, refurbishment and VOSS Specializes Services.
We are proud to have built the know-how, skills, tools and resources to preserve valves for seaworthy transportation or for long-term in warehouse storing and to ensure continuous quality of services rendered and to protect the valves and actuators from corrosion and contamination.
The types of valves under our area of expertise for this scope are Ball, Choke, Butterfly, Globe, Gate, Check and Electro-hydraulic.
The types of actuator under our area of expertise for this scope are Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Gas-over-oil, Electric (for MOV) and Electro-hydraulic control system (Midland-ACS brand).
VOSS has access to engineering expertise that can offer consultancy prior to any retrofitting work. We can size your pneumatic, hydraulic, gas over oil or motor actuators to suit the valves that are currently in use. We can also check the valve’s required torque at site and verify with the manufacturing value. This exercise results in a more suitable range of actuator sizing for better operation of the valve.
VOSS is equipped with Alcatel Adixen 124, a helium leak detector that has a helium leak detector that has a helium sensitivity range of between 10-11atm.cc/s. With this equipment, VOSS can perform FET to check whether your valves comply with any standard such as American National Standard Institution.
VOSS owns Norbar PT11, PT1A, equipment used to check the torque required to turn the valves. With this equipment, you can counter check the value given by the manufacturer of the valves for better actuator selection.
We can send our Engineers, Supervisors or Technicians to troubleshoot problematic valves and actuators at plant site or offshore. We have the knowledge and skills to help you to troubleshoot operational-mechanical/instrument problems that you have at site. We are also backed by internal and external engineering expertise that can help to check your valve, actuator or whole actuated valve system.
We have 1 unit of NitonAnalyzer XL3T 800 that can be used to analyse the composition of material. This is useful when you want to verify the material of your valves or actuator against what is stated in datasheet. You can also use PMI for other neighbouring equipment such as piping (for but weld joint) and flanges for selecting proper gaskets.
Our facilities are equipped with painting facilities that can comply to offshore specification or any relevant painting specification.
Our Torqlite IU-10XK & IU-3XL is essential when assembling the valve and actuator. HBT will ensure the valves and actuators have the correct torque to avoid any quality issues.
OSVT is a method to find the set point of the safety valve while the valve is in service. It has been widely used in developed countries as a replacement to the conventional test bench method and it is a growing method of testing safety valve in Asia. It can be used as a Condition Monitoring practice to check the health of the safety valve, reduce the maintenance frequency and consequently reduce maintenance cost by avoiding unnecessary shutdown. Our OSVT system has a proven test accuracy of less than 3% divergence from the true set point. Coupled with an ultrasonic sensor, the “start-to-leak” point can be identified and add to the accuracy of the set point result.
VOSS is able to perform Safety Valve and Control Valve servicing and testing with high quality lapping expertise. We can perform Computerized Pressure Test on this valve to find the accurate set point of the Safety Valve; and Computerized Control Valve Seat Test to test the leakage rate of the Control Valve. Our test benches are mobile and can be connected to a laptop installed with Valve Testing Software. The generated report will be available in softcopy and/or hardcopy.
